Inspired by visits to East Tennessee and a longing for the great outdoors, I desired to capture the sense of wonder of the tree covered mountains that are ever changing through the mist and rays of light. These rich, velvety and atmospheric pieces have been lovingly created through a variety of watercolor techniques, to allow the viewer to experience layer upon layer of The Smokies from either a slight elevation or surrounded by the deep forest, bringing a euphoric sense to your house.
